Sports and Twitter! A marriage made in heaven.  Sports now. NOW!

This is what the Twitter folks say: “Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?”

And by that they mean, what are doing now?

For sports doers, what are you playing and how are you playing.

For sports lovers, what are you thinking about?  Who are you rooting for?  And why?  Who do you think will win and how come?

For those of us who absolutely, positively love sports, it’s about sports now.
